Abstract

The lineage of the Jaafar bin Abi Talib family goes back to their grandfather: Abdul Muttalib bin Hashem bin Abdul Manaf, whose lineage extends to Nizar bin Maad bin Adnan, meaning that the lineage of this family goes back to the Al-Adnaniyah Al-Madhari, and they are the Arabs of the North, that is: the Hejaz, of authentic Arab origins.The distinguished position of the Jaafar bin Abi Talib family in the Quraish tribe, and in Bani Hashim in particular, is due to their affiliation and descent from their father Abi Talib, who had the best sons: Jaafar, Aqil, Ali (PBUH) and Talib, as well as a number of daughters, and this became The branch is known as: the Talibis, who made many sacrifices; In defense of Islam and jihad against its enemies, foremost among them: Jaafar bin Abi Talib (may God be pleased with him), the martyr of the Battle of Mu’tah in the year 8 AH / 629 AD, as well as the sacrifices of his two brothers: Aqeel and Imam Ali (peace be upon him).The Jaafar bin Abi Talib family had an important and prominent role in intellectual and scientific life, represented by their role in religious sciences, most notably: the interpretation of the Noble Qur’an. A memorizer and interpreter of the Noble Qur’an, he recited it in front of the Negus, the king of Abyssinia, until he succeeded in persuading him to stand by the immigrant Muslims, and to understand the message of Islam that the greatest Messenger Muhammad bin Abdullah (PBUH) carried. Jaafar had rhetorical abilities, strong expression, and distinguished sobriety, which made him qualified to read and interpret the Holy Qur’an, as emerged in the interpretation of the Qur’an from the Jaafar bin Abi Talib family: Abu Al-Hasan Muhammad bin Yaqoub bin Yusuf bin Jaafar bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jaafar bin Abi Talib, one of the grandsons of Jaafar al-Tayyar, from this upper house.From the family of Jaafar bin Abi Talib (may God be pleased with him), several characters emerged in the narration of the noble hadith of the Prophet; Because most of the Ahl al-Bayt were brought up religiously by the founder of the Ahl al-Bayt School, who is the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), and after him Imam Ali (peace be upon him) with all his children.There are other scientific fields in which the Jaafar bin Abi Talib family had contributions, including: wills, historical narratives, protest, i.e. debates with the Umayyad rulers and their leaders close to them, which confirms that they left clear imprints in the intellectual and scientific field in general, and in religious sciences in particular
