Instructions for writing research in the Journal of Babylon Center for Humanities Studies and procedures

First: Important Information

1- The Journal publishes solid scientific research that has not previously been published in the field of human sciences.

 2- The journal approves the publication of research in Arabic and English, in addition to the Eastern languages (Turkish, Hebrew, Persian). Research is written in the Word program, provided that research pages do not exceed twenty-five pages and are not less than ten pages. As for the main titles, the font size is It is (16) bold, the sub-headings are (14) bold, and the text of the paper is 14 plain, on A4 paper, and the font type is (Simplified Arabic).

3- Font type in English research (Times New Roman): font size: 16 bold for the main title, 14 bold for subtitles, 14 normal for the research body and page numbering, 11 normal for tables and figures, 9 normal for the summary and footnotes.

4- The research submitted for publication is subject to scientific reviwing by experts recognized for their competence and experience in their field of specialization and in the specializations corresponding to the research material, and the review is done confidentially.

5-The research is returned to its author to make corrections, if any, and then returned to the journal in printed form and sent electronically within a maximum period of one week.

6-The main criterion for acceptance for publication is that the research is original or valuable and that the topic is important, the suitability of the method and style, as well as the importance of quality, results, and applications.

Second: Follow-up and review

All research submitted by the editorial board shall be examined in order to determine the appropriateness of the search for publishing rules. When this is done, the texts are sent to two external reviewers according to their respective competencies for the subject of scientific research. Residents report between 3 and 4 weeks. The final decision will then be made by the editorial board based on the residents' report and suggestions. Often decisions are as follows:

- Acceptable for publication.

- Acceptable with minor modifications.

- Acceptable with great modifications.

- Search disapproved (not for publication).

 The main criterion for acceptance of publishing is that the search should be genuine, that the subject matter is relevant, the method and method, and the importance of quality, results, and applications.
