Study on the Contributions of Iraqi Academics in Scientific Journals

Abstract

In this study, the ratio of researchers from the teaching staff to the teaching staff in universities of higher education in solid independent countries with relations, Iraq and marriage coefficients was studied, and the beautiful realism was identified, which indicates a study of the mechanisms of publishing in those transportations, which indicates the increase that occurred in those countries that were there increase in its revenue.The research was completed by designing a questionnaire consisting of fourteen main questions distributed to a sample of four hundred lecturer, with various scientific titles in the faculties of engineering, sciences, health and medical technologies and the Institute of Technical Medicine. The study also showed the small number of publishers with various scientific Arab journals (57.5%), especially those who hold assistant lecturer, where their percentage was the highest (98%), and the reason is due to their lack of knowledge of the Arab journals in which they can publish and the slow speed of publication that may extend For several years, a number of researchers also proved this in the body of the questionnaire and the difficulty of delivering the fees required for the publication process. The study also found that most of the teachers supported publishing in international journals, where the total percentage of those who find difficulties for all scientific journals was low (21.5%), especially those with advanced scientific (professor 10%, assistant professor 13%) as the easiest and fastest to publish, while those who did not They had previously published in it, as their problems revolved around their ignorance of contacting these journals to deliver research and the required publishing fees for that
