Abstract

   This study aimed to reveal the concepts of human rights guaranteed by the history books for the preparatory phase of the Republic of Iraq, and identified the basic problem of this study the following question: What are the concepts of human rights, which are included in the history books for the preparatory phase of the Republic of Iraq?The study tried to answer some of the questions on concepts that were repeated more than others and those that are less recurrence, as well as how to distribute the types of concepts in the books mentioned, and to achieve the objectives of the study rely researchers search descriptive of the type of content analysis (content analysis) for being a good and appropriate for the analysis of the content of history textbooks preparatory school in the Republic of Iraq, and taken a sentence and paragraph as units of analysis for the extraction of concepts of human rights contained in the books mentioned, and held for two honesty through the presentation of form analysis Addinm experts Mndhua competencies in teaching methods and science Alnevswaltarich to ensure accommodate the concepts of all human rights, as was confirmed Stability analysis by re-analysis process. The agreement coefficient extracted using equation Holsta H0listi.The study resulted in the following key findings:1-in the history book for fourth grade was a literary concepts: economic rights, cultural rights, health rights, social rights, the rights of the people are the concepts that were repeated more than others.2 - in the history book for the fifth grade was a literary concepts: economic rights, the rights of the people, political rights, personal rights are concepts that are repeated more than others.3- In the history book for sixth-grade literary concepts: the people's rights, social rights, environmental rights, economic rights are concepts that are repeated more than others.
