Digital Competence and Its Relationship with Self-Vitality Among Graduate Students

Abstract

The current research aims to identify digital competence and Subjective vitality among graduate students, and the correlation between them. In order to achieve this, the researchers adopted the digital competence scale prepared by Ferrari (Ferrari, 2012) consisting of (29) items, and Subjective vitality scale prepared by (Ryan & Frederick, 1997) consisting of (7) items. To complete this, the two scales were applied to a sample of (400) male and female students from Al-Qadisiyah University, who were selected using a random stratified method according to the proportional method. After collecting the data and processing it statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the research results concluded that graduate students have digital competence and enjoy Subjective vitality. There is also a positive correlation between digital competence and self-vitality. Based on the results of the research, several recommendations and proposals were made
