Abstract

The current research seeks to know: (The effect of the PowerPoint educational games on the collection of fifth grade primary students in the subject of Arabic grammar). The researcher formulated the following null hypothesis: (There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of students who study Arabic grammar using PowerPoint games and the average scores of students who study Arabic grammar in the traditional way in the achievement post-test). The research boundaries included a intentional sample of the students of the researcher’s school itself, as it is a teacher of Arabic language in the same school in the Babil Governorate Center for the academic year (2023-2024). The research sample reached (60) students distributed in two groups, including the experimental group, and reached (30) students in the Division (A), and the control group reached (30) pupils in the Division (B).  They studied the same Arabic grammar subject in the fifth grade curriculum for two months in the second semester. The researcher used two tools that she prepared herself. The first tool was to design a blended lesson in which the independent variable was interwoven (PowerPoint games), and the second tool was (the achievement test). After conducting the experiment, the research concluded that the experimental group was superior to the control group. In light of this result, the researcher recommends the following:

  1. Adopting the blended learning method as a result of the preventive change imposed after the events of Corona.
  2. Self-training for the teacher on contemporary teaching design techniques and strategies through research, review, and use of specific electronic technologies.
  3. Benefit from current research as a theoretical and applied reference.

4. Conducting the experiment in different grade levels and subjects other than the Arabic language.
