Abstract

After exposure to traditional texts has become a task that does not appeal to researchers - because of the specificity of these texts - either because of the strangeness of their language, the complexity of their meanings, and the ambiguity of their purposes, or because they are no longer in harmony with the mood of the era and do not express its spirit, and nothing remains between them and what people feel today except what These texts still retain commonalities between their creators and us, as those denominators are represented by their expression of feelings, desires, fears, and anxiety... and everything that occupies a person’s mind, and represents his general interests and aspirations

Hence, we tried to find a way to approach one of these (traditional) texts, in our belief that this type of confrontation will contribute to shedding light on a sample of the ancient Arab poetic heritage, which is research into (the poetry of Abi Zabeed al-Tai), the veteran poet, son of the desert and the desert. What is rooted in the nature of his language is its dryness and harshness, while that language retains the roots of its poetry, rhythm, structure, witty imagery, and diversity of subject matter.

In this research, we will focus on the stylistic expression of the constructional sentence, to show the characteristics of the use of that sentence in (the poetry of Abi Zabeed al-Ta’i). Accordingly, we will trace Abi Zabeed al-Ta’i’s uses of the methods (command, question, appeal, and wishful thinking), as stylistic choices with certain characteristics that perform semantic functions. In the structure of its poetic fabric.
