Abstract

The study addressed education methods in terms of their concept, importance, and standards, and the role of education methods in dealing with differences in individual levels among learners in order to reach comprehension of the scientific material. The study also addressed the Kolb model and its role in developing learners’ skills when teaching biology. The study aimed to study the extent to which Kolb's model and the educational methods it includes are able to overcome individual differences and among learners and to develop learners' skills when teaching biology. The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is encouraging the application of Kolb’s model in developing learners’ skills when teaching biology. The study also concluded that the hypotheses that Kolb developed for his model are correct and help to develop the educational process. The study encouraged the application of the teaching methods included in Kolb's model to learners when teaching biology. Because the methods included in Kolb's model help deal with individual differences among learners so that the most appropriate method is chosen for each learner to reach the best result. There is no specific teaching method that is best for developing learners' skills, but rather the method varies according to the individual capabilities of learners, but the study concluded that the convergent or cumulative teaching method is the most appropriate method among the methods of Kolb's model for developing learners' skills when teaching biology.
