Abstract

Educational services are important services in the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja Sulaymaniyah due to the various services they provide that the residents of this city need, especially for the displaced population. This study came to show the spatial and functional efficiency of educational services for the displaced in the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja Sulaymaniyah, and to measure their efficiency in light of the population displacement that the displaced people were exposed to, and to describe the distributional and functional reality of all the schools of the displaced population at its various stages, and the suitability of this distribution with the numbers of the displaced population and camps in the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja Sulaymaniyah, in terms of quantity, type and location, and to show their spatial and functional efficiency at the level of their distribution in the districts of the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja Sulaymaniyah. And to reach a vision for a plan that addresses the sources of error in place and function.

To address the research problem, it was assumed that there is a defect in the spatial distribution of schools for the displaced population in addition to their spatial and functional inefficiency, and the descriptive and analytical approach was relied upon in addressing the research problem.

One of the most important results reached is that there is a shortage and deficit in the number of schools for the displaced population, and a lack of spatial and functional efficiency in the educational services provided by these schools to the displaced population. The study recommended increasing the number of schools and distributing them in a manner that is consistent with the locations of the camps and the number of displaced populations in the governorates of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja.
