Abstract

This constitution guarantees the preservation of the Islamic identity of the majority of the Iraqi people, and also guarantees the full religious rights of all individuals to freedom of belief and religious practice, such as Christians, Yazidis, Sabians, and Mandaeans. Our research dealt with the Iraqi federal constitution from its broadest aspects, as it is a basic guarantee for the components of the nation and society, as it works to protect individuals and consolidate Their language, culture, and nationality. Our research dealt with the social and economic rights of individuals, since the method in Iraq is a democratic method of drafting the constitution, in light of citizenship rights, as it seeks to understand and analyze the role of the constitution and its impact on the rights and freedoms of individuals in the legal and administrative context. I began the research by clarifying the statement of the issue that focuses on Importance as a mechanism for regulating individuals' affairs and protecting public order. It addressed the problem represented by the ambiguity surrounding the political interference that is blocked in some of its paragraphs and the definition of its powers, which leads to complications in understanding its applications and effects on the rights of citizens. The relationship between the constitution and the behavior of individuals comes in the context ofCitizenship rights refer to the balance between authority and individuals through the application of procedures practiced by governments and public institutions to regulate actions in controlling the behavior of citizens, as well as when granting them rights and commitment to duties. These rights guaranteed by the Constitution include freedom of expression, assembly, and religion, as well as the rights of equality and non-discrimination. The Constitution works to Establishing a framework that preserves individuals’ freedom to express their opinions and participate in political life freely.
