Between 1990-1995, it witnessed a great development in the Turkish-Israeli relations, which led to the signing of military, security, economic and political agreements between 1996-1997, which had their effects and repercussions on the Arab countries and threatened their national security, especially Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Egypt. Its rejection and denunciation of those agreements, in addition to taking a set of measures, including the signing of agreements with other countries targeted by the agreements, to be parallel to the Turkish-Israeli cooperation, and the issue was presented to regional and international organizations. The Turkish-Israeli cooperation 1996-1997 was the focus of events in the region as a result of its effects on the national security of the region in general and the Arab countries in particular, because that cooperation was targeting the Arab countries in particular. It mainly aims to curtail the Iraqi capabilities and put Syria between the jaws of the Turkish-Israeli pincers, as well as the Turkish-Israeli control of the region. Therefore, the Arab countries expressed their positions on Turkish-Israeli cooperation, as Iraq denounced the agreement and worked to restore its relations with Syria.
