The Meaning of Association of Negation with Interrogation in the Glorious Quran

Abstract

The current paper tackles the phenomenon of Associating Negation with Interrogation in the Glorious Quran. It has been noticed that a number of Quranic verses starting with interrogation are associated with the subsequent negative sentences. The outcome of this association is a meaning which , in turn , represents the goal of the study .The Glorious Quran was chosen to be the field where the phenomenon of the Association of Negation with Interrogation is investigated . This is due to the fact that the Glorious Quran embraces a variety of styles , rich vocabulary , eloquence of words and speech , and rich meanings ,etc.; it is Allah ,The Almighty , wording . Searching in the Quranic verses , the phenomenon at hand sounds to be distinguished . This is why it was chosen for the current study. The study adopts two approaches – descriptive and analytical .The former involves extrapolation and identification of association between negation and interrogation in all the Glorious verses . As for the latter approach , it involves analysing the two associated sentences of interrogation and negation to come up with the required meaning of using association. The study started with an introduction giving some details on the topic and the phenomenon . It is divided into two sections. The first section is titled “Association of Negation Sentence with the Sentence Started with Interrogation Character” whereas the second one is titled “Association of Negation Sentence with Nouns of Interrogation” . The research ends up with a conclusion where the most striking results are mentioned followed by an appendix including the Quranic verses of the phenomenon at hand
