Abstract

Alexander the Great was one of the most famous figures of the old history. He succeeded to extend his authority to many of the old world countries to control an area that had never been controlled before. He inherited courage, boldness, and strength from his father, plus beauty and delicacy from his mother. That greatly enabled him to get the likelihood of his people. He used to respect the cultures of the peoples he invaded and that led to a kind of acceptance on the part of the people who became under his control. The unique characteristics, he had, helped him much in his endeavor to create an international unified empire collecting all the peoples of the world in one country. He could achieve part of his dream but his sudden death at the age of youth put an end.
