Characteristics of rhythmic harmony among Al-Mutanabbi and their impact on Al-Jawahiri’s poetry

This study aims to explore the features of rhythmic harmony in Al-Mutanabbi’s poetry, and to analyze their impact on Al-Jawahiri’s poetry. The study examines the rhythmic elements in Al-Mutanabbi's poetry, including meter, rhyme, repetition, and vocal patterns, and examines how these elements are used to enhance artistic beauty and poetic meaning.
The study relies on a critical analytical approach, in which selected texts from the poetry of Al-Mutanabbi and Al-Jawahiri are analyzed, with the aim of comparing the ways in which the two poets used rhythm to communicate their thoughts and feelings. The results show that Al-Jawahiri was greatly influenced by Al-Mutanabbi's rhythmic methods, as he used similar meters and rhymes, and relied on repetition and sound techniques to achieve certain musical effects in his poems.
The study also highlights the differences between the two poets’ use of rhythm, which reflects the development of poetic styles over time, and is influenced by different cultural and political contexts. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding the Arab poetic heritage and its continuing impact on the development of modern Arabic poetry.
This study contributes to enriching Arab literary criticism and opens a new horizon for understanding the relationship between great poets throughout the ages, and sheds light on the mutual influences between different poetic works, which enhances our understanding of the development of Arabic literature and its creative dimensions.
