Seyyed Adnan Gharifi Bahrani and his poem (Hadith kasa) "stylistic study"

Abstract

Seyyed Adnan Gharifi Bohrani is one of the greatest poets and eloquent speakers (orators) in his time. He was one of the genius intellectuals that his phenomenal intelligence was testified by others and called him a great title. He was one of the prominent poets in the time of Ahl’e-Beit (Prophet Mohammad and his family P-B-V H) that recite long odes praising Prophet Mohammad and his holly family. One of these famous odes, is named Hadith Kasa lyrics which is a literary and rhetoric form of this Hadith. This literary text with rhetorical expressions and descriptions, captures all opponents’ interest and amazing. In this article we analyze this ode with Oslobieh framework based on audio and rhetoric criteria with employing analytic-descriptive methodology. One of the significant obtained results is that the poet selects “Bahre Basit Technique” regarding audio (aural) criteria due to its widespread usage and simple application. Analyzing this literary work from internal stability perspective, we concluded that the poet established a structured coherent connection between words and their meaning. He employs antiquated (obsolete) words so cleverly and intelligibly for empowering his ode. He benefits from some of the main literary devices like simile, metaphor and irony in his work.
