The Eastern Question is one of the most prominent concepts that framed the European political scene throughout the nineteenth century. It was represented by the competition of the major powers (France, Britain, and Russia) to acquire the possessions of the Ottoman Empire due to its weakness. The positions of the countries varied according to their interests, and Britain was one of the most prominent countries that announced intersecting positions. With other European countries regarding the Ottoman Empire, and in order to understand those British trends, we tried to shed light on the political adoptions that pushed the British to take that position through our research entitled Britain and its political role in the Eastern Question. The research was divided into an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The introduction included a review of the topic and a statement of its importance, along with the structure of the research. As for the first section, we touched on the concept of the Eastern Question and the most prominent factors that led to its emergence, while the second section highlighted the most prominent positions taken by the British side regarding the Greek crisis, the Ottoman-Egyptian conflict, and its position during the Crimean War. The third section touched on the British role in the Balkan crisis that In the conclusion, we explained the most prominent results reached by the researcher in light of his review of those raging conflicts. I hope that I have reached some historical facts; at least they are relative to what is included in the subject of the tagged research.
