Miraculous World in Nizar Abdul Sattar’s Novel The Night of the Angel

Abstract

The Angel’s Night novel by the novelist Nizar Abdel Sattar seeks to exploit the miraculous data and adapt it as a technique in drawing new boundaries for the use of modern technologies for the Iraqi novel.  This novel with many faces (philosophical, hermeneutic, realistic) presents many statements through its narrative space, which makes it a turning point in the literary history of the novelist Nizar Abdel Sattar.  And between the miraculous supernatural, the language of the text was miraculous, raising astonishment and tension for the reader, which highlights the writer’s ability to evoke the miraculous imaginative side that was distinguished by deviating from the usual pattern, as he invests all myths and symbols, to impart human connotations and connotations as well as his ability to create functional interdependence in the formation of his text  Narrative, which makes its text sensitive to writing, and it is difficult for the researcher to uncover its depths and explore its meaning and metaphors due to the discrepancy between the past and the present.  Damaged back and forth through the space of myth and reality full of contradictions, as well as the intense symbolic language, which led to the disruption of time and its overlapping and fragmentation in the text space, which made the text need deep critical readings and special critical listening as a text that is not subject to traditional critical readings.  Abdul Sattar is a hybrid character, half of whom is human and the second is an animal to make it penetrate temporal and historical distances and have the supernatural ability to do wonders as well as change, which made the novelistic formation of the text space unconventional and unfamiliar, making the text a narrative world parallel to reality and contributing to its criticism.
