Abstract

The present research aims to identify the spelling errors common to students of the Faculty of Basic Education in the Department of Special Education in writing two-syllable words and words that are pronounced differently to pronounce a model. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher chose the same research from the students of the third stage randomly to be a field for the application of the research. The number of the sample members reached (143) students from the study stage mentioned in the special education department. From the Koranic texts dictated to the students and after the tool is ready for application, the researcher applied the dictation test on the sample of the research and for the purpose of checking the stability of the correction adopted the method of retesting, After correcting the responses of the students, and processing the data statistically, it was found that there is a great failure of the students in the subjects of dictation, and according to the research results reached by the researcher reached a set of conclusions, including: 1 - comes at the forefront of the problems, the fact that students write the word by word and not on The basis of pronunciation, for example, the words (Sura, met, middle, and Boston) were written (picture, Istmoa, Wasat, and Boston) Perhaps because of the lack of awareness of the students between the differences between the letters in the pronunciation, which causes mistakes in drawing the word.
2 - One of the most important implications of the miracle of the Arabic language is that it is abundant in the two-syllable words that are pronounced in one word, which causes many to make the mistake of writing them correctly. Which should be written in one word (what, however, wherever, God willing) and this is due to the lack of knowledge of students the need to merge between them, and this is one of the problems experienced by students in this area. The researcher also recommended several recommendations, including:
1. Focus on the correct spelling rules
2. The use of various teaching methods and methods to suit the subjects of dictation.
3. Focus on the rules of writing two-syllable words and words that are pronounced differently to pronounce them while assigning students extra-curricular duties.

To complement the present study, the researcher suggested:

  1. Conduct a similar study to the current study on the students of the Faculty of Education.
  2. "Conducting a balance study between the students of the faculties of education and Quranic studies in the performance of Hamsal Al Wasl and Alqata".
  3. Conducting a pilot study using modern methods of teaching the subject of dictation rules.
