Analysis of symbols, characters, treatise on minions and whirlwinds, Ibn Shahid Al-AndalusiAbstract
This brief study was based on presenting the characters and analyzing their symbols according to mechanisms, the most prominent of which are the external features or characteristics such as the appearance and what supports the appearance such as the horse, the weapon, and the uniform, in addition to the internal characteristics such as courage, dream, and anger. Then we discussed the analysis of the characters’ symbols and the creator’s intention in choosing these names and nicknames and not others. According to this inspection, we sought to reveal the connection of these symbols - names and nicknames - with (the characters), or with the ideas and perceptions that settled in the mind of the creator, meaning that the creator’s imagination led him to invent these names and nicknames due to their close connection to the literary impact of each of these characters within the space of the message.
The language adopted by the author of the message, as well as the event, played a major role in building the symbols of the characters that walked with the story from beginning to end, which led to the recipient’s interaction with it. Because most of its events are part of the cultural heritage carried by the recipient, and thus they are not alien to him, but rather are with him in his memory. The story writer's mockery of his enemies is evident in a funny, comedic way that makes his opponents die in anger. The narrator's effort is clear as he puts the names of his characters in an intentional way, wanting certain connotations that are appropriate and harmonious, so that the text achieves its readability and the character's possibility and existence
