The research aims to determine the extent to which public opinion trends regarding women’s media work influence their job performance, Public opinion regarding women’s work in media in their job performance, revealing the impact of prevailing public opinion trends on women’s work in media institutions from their point of view, and studying the obstacles they face while performing their media tasks, The researcher adopted a sample of (406) respondents for the questionnaire tool for women media professionals, and the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that public opinion trends regarding women’s work in media institutions tend to be negative from the point of view of media professionals, as society so far does not prefer women’s work in this field. Among the reasons for these negative trends are the prevailing customs and traditions, and society’s rejection of women going out to work, traveling, and dealing with others according to the working conditions that are necessary for them, as well as some incorrect behaviors on the part of some media professionals, which reflected a negative image of their presence in this field, Many obstacles have also emerged that women media professionals face and affect their job performance at work, the most prominent of which are the customs and traditions prevailing in society and working hours.
