Abstract

This study seeks to highlight the Western writings in particular that used the term pilgrimage with reference to visiting the holy shrines and the shrine of Al-Hussein in particular. And the authoritativeness of the West using imports of what was mentioned in our Islamic heritage books and narratives of the importance of visiting Al-Hussein and equating it as a desirability of Hajj does not mean at all the abolition of the obligatory as much as our imams and scholars are accustomed to facilitating the performance of the obligatory duties, not complicating them, depending on the principle of ability.

The study entitled Hajj to Al-Hussein was divided from the specificity of the meaning to the authority of the West into two axes. Al-Hussein, the attempt was made as much as possible to get acquainted as much as possible with Western texts and Tabriz, where Westerners used the term Hajj in reference to the description of the visit to Al-Hussein or the rest of the pure imams, whether they saw it when they came to Iraq such as Lady Blunt or Donaldson, or based on the description of Western writings For that visit, and this was upon us in an attempt aimed at generalizing the use and removing the embarrassment that its use may impose in another place, and understanding the philosophy of pilgrimage or visiting and agreeing that the goal, the pursuit, the intent, and the visit is a pilgrimage to God and the saints of God.
