Abstract

The importance of the grammatical factor comes from the fact that it is the most frequent topic in grammarian studies, as it is the throes of thinking about the cause. Changing the phonetic endings of words in compositions was a reason to draw the attention of grammarians and researchers, ancient and modern, and was an incentive for them to search for the causes and reasons for this change.

The idea of the grammatical factor is one of the broad ideas. On the one hand, it is considered a philosophical idea that corresponds to the idea of the efficient cause according to Aristotle. On the other hand, it is a rational idea, as it is closely linked to the human mind in its contemplation of what is happening around it and surrounding it and its search for causes.

From this, grammarians noticed that the change that takes place in a word at the end of its construction is a secret that raises questions and contemplation, so they began searching for the reasons, and they arrived at the theory of the grammatical factor. With a lot of research, philosophizing in this theory increased as if it were the focus of the grammatical lesson, and then parsing became widespread in it. For grammarians, it becomes as if it were all grammar.
