Creative behavior for outstanding students and their peers

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify:1. The level of students' creative behavior.2. Statistically significant differences in creative behavior according to the two variables:a. Gender (male-female).B. Type of students (outstanding - ordinary).T. Educational level (fourth-fifth).In order to achieve the goals, it was necessary to build a tool to measure creative behavior, which consisted of (29) paragraphs of divided into (7) areas, and after verifying the psychometric properties of the research scale and its paragraphs, it was applied to the basic research sample of (400) distinguished students. In the province of Babylon for the academic year (2021-2022), they were selected in a random manner with a proportional distribution, if the selection of the sample in this way makes it more representative of the original community and after analyzing the data statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the results yielded the following:• outstanding students in general enjoy a high level of creative behavior, and this represents a positive indicator and confirms the proper preparation process for this segment.• The level of creative behavior among outstanding students is not affected by the gender variable, as it is the result of the outstanding students' perceptions, the environmental conditions to which they are subject, and their unique characteristics without the gender variable having a significant impact.In the light of the research results and conclusions, the researcher recommends the following:1. Focusing on preparing high school students, both male and female, scientifically, ethically and professionally, in line with the rapid scientific, psychological, economic, cultural and political developments on the world stage at the present time and in the future.2. Educating parents through the media, programmes, seminars, and parents’ councils about sound and normal ways of raising children and methods of dealing with them and educating them, and avoiding setting goals, standards and high levels that may exceed the capabilities and capabilities of their children.3. The need for educational institutions to benefit from the creative behavior scale prepared by the researcher for students4. Developing distinguished schools in educational institutions by preparing curricula and teaching them in ways that help develop creative behavior, as well as training faculty members to use learning strategies based on creative behavior to develop the level of learning among students.As a complement to the current research, the researcher proposes the following:1. Conducting studies dealing with the creative behavior of different age groups and in educational stages other than the secondary stage.2. Conducting a study on the creative behavior of other special education groups.3. Conducting studies aimed at the impact of economic, social and cultural conditions on students' creative behavior.4. Carrying out a study aimed at finding a program that helps develop creative behavior among students.
