Abstract

Resuscitation devices are devices used to save the life of a person in emergency situations such as a heart attack, drowning, brain death and other cases that need resuscitation. The lack of blood flow to the brain, which leads to the destruction of brain cells and thus the patient dies. Killing the innocent soul is a crime, rather it is one of the most heinous crimes, and all the heavenly religions have agreed that life is a gift from the Creator that no one but God (Almighty and Majestic) has the right to dispose of and the wise legislator came By preserving the soul, he legislated what brings benefits to it and repels evils from it, whether it is from the aspect of existence, or from the aspect of non-existence, and it was mentioned in the Holy Qur’anAnd the Prophetic Sunnah confirms the sanctity of transgressing the human soul and forbids the loss of the innocent soul. Recently, what is known as brain dead or those with severe head injuries, has spread in the light of which the brain stem dies without the heart, and it breathes through life support equipment for a long time until God (Almighty and Glorious is He) dies.Among the requirements of the Muslim’s belief is that sickness and healing are in the hands of God Almighty, and that medication and treatment are taken by means that God Almighty has placed in the universe, and that it is not permissible to despair of God’s Spirit or despair of His mercy, but rather it should remain hope for recovery, God willing, and doctors and patients’ families should strengthen morale The patient, and diligently caring for him and relieving his psychological and physical pain, regardless of the expectation of recovery or not.
