Abstract

The arbitration of Satan in Dar Al-Nadwa, which was built by Qusai bin Kilab, and the Quraish did not judge a matter, it was for peace or war, except in it, and the story of Iblis is considered to be what was popular and not proven in the Prophet’s biography, as many narrations mentioned what happened in Dar Al-Nadwa before the Prophet emigrated Muhammad (may God bless him and his family) and Iblis objected to them in the form of a sheikh. In this research, we concluded that the narration of Shaitan Dar al-Nadwa is one of the subjects of the Umayyads. since it is established in the narrations that Iblis was not the one who made the decision to present opinions and ideas, but rather his mission was limited to refuting some opinions, and supporting others, and the purpose behind putting them is that the meeting of the tribal leaders to eliminate the Prophet (may God bless him and his family) and i Islam is consider it the first process Political assassination in Islam was carried out by the Quraysh, so they decided to assign this task (the assassination of the Prophet (may God bless him and his family)) to a non-existent personality, and to throw it up it to the unseen, because it is a disgraceful matter and detracts from the honor of those tribes, so the Umayyads wanted to remove this disgrace from them, so they invented the story of the Najdi devil , since the devil of Dar Al-Nadwa was not Satan, but rather a man whose name the narrators refused to mention for political and ideological reasons. Also, their choice of Najd to be the forte of Satan is not absurd, but it came for specific goals, for example to give an absolute concept of the forte of Satan, in addition to that Najd includes Iraq and its districts according to what was stated in the books of geographers, and therefore they keep everything bad away from the owners of power and their places of residence, with the same Time we find them accusing their enemies, and there is no better place than Iraq to accuse him of this, because he was one of the fiercest opponents of the Umayyad rule, so they made him the forte of Satan
