Abstract

Rather, they controlled the position of the caliph, appointing those who served their interests, and isolating those who opposed their interests, as well as the ministers who became subject to abuse and confiscation by these Turks, as they worked to exclude every minister He looked forward to retaining his authority and chose to rely on weak ministers who would meet their demands. The weakness of the Abbasid Arab state was due to several factors, the most important of which was the caliphs’ reliance on these Turks and assigning them to civil and military positions to the exclusion of the Arabs who were the material of Islam and the strength of the state. We can notice that this era was dominated by corruption and instability. As for the disparate and turbulent society that was impatiently waiting for a captain to lead his ship to safety and stability, as the caliphs made singing and dancing councils in which poets, scholars and writers participated, you do not know if they were drinking councils held for the sake of art and literature, or art and literature councils that were for the sake of drink and it was It has its own rituals and distinctive clothes that are bright, shiny, perfumed and decorated with gold, in which they remember the Arabs’ etiquette and the news of nations, but despite what has been mentioned, we can count the third and fourth Hijri centuries as one of the finest eras in the history of the Islamic state from both the scientific and intellectual standpoints, and the reason for that is the prosperity of Intellectual life abounded in the second Abbasid era, as society was composed of mixtures of different nations and cultures, and the state was a mixture of many peoples, and the mentality of this new people was reflected in the impact of these cultures, as the mixing of the Arab element with foreign elements had an impact on mental and cultural life, because Each of these elements has its own etiquette, customs, traditions and ideas that distinguish it from the other. Perhaps this mixing had a great impact in creating an environment that enjoys a great deal of Various features.
