General Conditions in Thailand 1995-2015 (Historical Study)

This study dealt with the general conditions in Thailand in the political, economic and social aspects for the period from (1995-2015), which focused on the political crises and coups in the Thai Kingdom from the establishment of the political system until 2015 AD. Prime Minister Chuan Likpai, from 1992 to 2001 AD, was able to formulate a policy This government was subjected to many demonstrations and economic crises, which led to its dissolution and the victory of Thaksin as Prime Minister, who gave great importance to foreign relations and was able to resist the separatist movements in southern Thailand, and as a result of the military interventions in government that brought down Thaksin. With a military coup in 2006, and the formation of an interim government by army officers who had a role in the military coups, after that, Yingwok Shinawatra was able to win the elections and form a government until 2014, as the country witnessed a lot of political tensions during her reign, which led to her dismissal by the Constitutional Court and the announcement Martial law. The study also clarified the nature of the coups and protests that worked to inflame the political and economic situation, as the country has witnessed more than eighteen coups since 1932 that played a role in overthrowing successive Thai governments.
