Frameworks for journalistic treatment of political issues in electronic news newspapers

Abstract

This research dealt with the frameworks and mechanisms of journalistic treatment of political issues in electronic news newspapers and their impact on the Iraqi audience in the Iraqi newspapers Al-Sabah and the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, and the manner in which this topic was dealt with in the two research newspapers. In light of the importance that this topic acquires, the researcher defined the problem of her research with the following main question.  “What are the frameworks for journalistic treatment of political issues in electronic news newspapers?

 This research is considered one of the descriptive research that adopted the survey method, which allowed the use of the content analysis tool to analyze the content of the two newspapers, numbering (676) from the newspapers (Al-Sabah Al-Iraqi and Al-Sharq Al-Awsat Saudi Arabia) from (1/1/2022 to 12/31/2022), and it reached  The research yielded results, the most important of which were: The journalistic political treatment framework ranked first among the frameworks used by the research newspapers, and the conflict framework came in second place in the two newspapers.
