Abstract

In short, it can be said that Parliament plays a vital role in executive competencies, by exercising oversight and legislation, directing policies and making important decisions. However, there must be an appropriate balance between Parliament and the executive to ensure effective functioning of government. Parliaments face challenges in exercising their role in executive powers, including the balance between legislative responsibility and oversight responsibility. Parliament must be able to balance these two functions to achieve democracy, transparency and governmental accountability.

In general, Parliament should seek to strengthen its role in policy formulation, monitoring and ensuring that policies are implemented in a transparent and fair manner. Parliament must work to represent the interests of citizens and society in general, and to ensure that the executive operates in the interests of the people. Achieving this balance requires constructive cooperation between Parliament and the government, and ensuring effective mechanisms for dialogue and consultation between them. Parliament and the government must work together to achieve development, stability and justice in society.

Striking a balance between Parliament’s dominance and its role in executive competencies is crucial to strengthening democracy and achieving sustainable development. Parliament must have the capacity to fulfill its oversight and legislative responsibilities independently, while at the same time it must be able to cooperate with the executive to achieve national goals and public interests.
