Abstract

This research was concerned with studying the motivation of attribution and the reasons that cause individuals to make certain decisions regarding the incidents they experience, as the behavior and actions of individuals are due to factors that influence them and push them to make those decisions, whether these factors are personal traits or manifestations of social situations, and this study included Four chapters, the first chapter includes the research problem centered around the following question (How does causal attribution appear in the Iraqi theatrical text?) and then the importance of the research and the need for it, as the research is the first to study the theory of (causal attribution) in the theatrical text. The aim of the research focused on identifying the operations of causal attribution in Iraqi theatrical text.

 The temporal boundaries were set at (1998) and the spatial limit was set at (Iraq) Then define the terms terminologically and procedurally.                           

As for the second chapter, it contained two sections, the first section included a study of (causal attribution, origin and concept), while the second section dealt with (theatrical reading through the theory of causal attribution), and then the previous studies and the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework; The third chapter included the research procedures that included the research community represented by (the play Paradise Opens Its Doors Late) as a model for it and as specified in the title of the research; This play was also the research sample, along with the justifications for its selection. As for the fourth chapter, it concluded with a set of results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals. And from Then a list of the most important sources and reference .
