Violence against women in Habbaniya district

Abstract

The study aims to find out the causes of violence and its form in al-habbaniya distrct the study population consist of women who are exposed to violence the study sample consist of a set of question form which include set of question direct ti women who have been subject to violence in the urban and rural areas of al-habbaniya distract in order to determmin the number of women who are exposed to violence in its various form the percentagas varied btween the hightes and the lowest and theis is a result of different and natural of each environment and thire customs as well as the different in their culture and educational level it has been show that one of the most important reason behind violence in rulal of the tradition commn among them in addition to dominance of mahes and the interference of the husband family in the prived live and violence today has become an issue that all countries seek to redus its severity and enact laws and legislation that regect violens against women in its various form women in the study area are exposed to different and diverse from of violence such as physical violence which is the oldest physical violence psychological  violence ,  psychological  violence resulting from hurtful speech and verbal violence that include bad expressions.
