Abstract

The Holy Qur’an, in every aspect of it, is evidence of a miracle, and displacement must be a part of this miracle, as the pictorial displacement in the Holy Qur’an contributed to drawing an impressive image in the mind of the recipient that prompted him to interact with the Qur’anic discourse, which made each verse a graphic image that is unique to it in terms of Elements of beauty, because the Holy Qur’an employed the image for religious, awareness-raising, and human purposes, so that it blended the beauty of the image with the desired goal of bringing the meaning closer and conveying the idea by bringing the abstract idea down to a tangible reality that the mind imagines and contemplates in order to have the strongest influence on souls. This research aims, based on the analytical descriptive approach, to study the metaphorical figurative displacement and its types in Surat Al-A’raf. The results of the research indicate that the metaphorical figurative displacement in all its manifestations is a prominent phenomenon in the Holy Qur’an. You will rarely find a verse devoid of types of displacement, because one of the most important goals of this displacement in the Holy Qur’an is to confirm the meaning and establish it in the mind, as the effect of displacement on the soul is not hidden, as well as to draw the attention of the recipient. To an important issue by linking this issue to one of its sources, as the function of displacement appears in psychological photography, which achieves the goal in revealing the impulses of the soul and embodying it. graphic.
