The study dealt with a vital aspect of the history of the Arabs and a pathological and abhorrent phenomenon from the manifestations of their social and economic lives. This is the phenomenon of economic corruption represented by bribery, which constituted a dangerous and abhorrent phenomenon. It was able to transform Arab societies into a mass of corruption, which contributed to the spread of injustice and injustice, until rights were lost and Without achieving justice in society, and perhaps its affliction spread to all the Arab kingdoms neighboring them, such as the kingdoms of Mesopotamia, the Levant, and the Nile countries, which required them to confront and combat it by various means and methods. Therefore, they enacted various systems and laws to criminalize and prohibit it, and imposed various penalties up to the death penalty on its perpetrators. Despite all that, they did not succeed in eradicating it. This phenomenon continued to eat away at the body of Arab society to this day, and since there was no independent academic study concerned with gathering its diaspora, So we decided to choose it as a subject for our study. So this study was entitled (manifestations of economic corruption among the Arabs before Islam, the phenomenon of bribery as a model) and after collecting the scientific material from its sources, we divided it according to the descriptive inductive scientific method used, so it came distributed into three topics preceded by the introduction and followed by the conclusion, in the first topic we dealt with the definition of the study vocabulary, In the second topic, the historical dimension of it in the ancient Arab civilizations, while we devoted the third topic to studying the phenomenon of bribery in the Arabian Peninsula before Islam, then we deposited the conclusion with a summary of the results that the study came out with, and perhaps with this work we will have succeeded in drawing a close and accurate picture of this abhorrent phenomenon in the life of The Arabs before Islam, and God is the conciliator.
