A lexicographical evaluation of synonyms and antonyms in Kurdish reading textbooks (third grade)

Abstract

This research is a special research in the field of lexicography, the descriptive -analytical method was used for a lexical evaluation of synonyms and antonyms in the activities and exercises section of the Kurdish reading textbook (third grade), The purpose of the selection of lexical entries is to present educational purposes, meaning analysis and encyclopedic information are placed in the activities and exercises section of the Kurdish reading textbook, also evaluate synonyms and antonyms in Kurdish reading textbooks in terms of selecting lexical entries, analyzing and interpreting meaning through synonyms, antonym and brief definitions and presenting encyclopedic information, which is intended to increase linguistic knowledge and encyclopedic knowledge for students, as well as for educational purposes
