Abstract

The aim of the research is to: determine the effect of blended teaching strategies on learning achievement among eighth grade students in social sciences subject , The researcher depended on experimental design for equilibrium group , which consists of two groups: the experimental  group was taught using the blended strategy, and the controlled group was taught in the conventional way the same subjects and post-tests to measure study achievement .

The research community consisted of eighth grade students in primary schools of Kifri Directorate of education for the academic year 2024-2025 , For 16 primary schools, researcher selected Hataw Primary School for the  research community as a sample for her research. The total number of students were 69. Randomly, Group A was designated as experiential group , and Group B became the controlled group In one group, after the elimination of the students who failed the tests, the number of students in both experimental and controlled groups were 50. The researcher balanced the variables between the two groups (age, previous year's marks in social subjects).

The researcher selected three chapters from the social studies textbook to determine the subject of study during the experimental period, and then a test was prepared on study achievement that consisted of 30 test items in the form of options of several tests, to ensure the accuracy of the tools was made available to a group of experts,and for reliability, test- retest procedures were used, and finally for statistical analysis of data (spss) was used and presenting the results of the study shows astatistically  significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group and the controlled group in the study achievement test, which is in favor of the experimental group ..
