The effect of two teaching methods (self-competition) and (standard competition) in teaching speed Performing some offensive handball skills for students

The importance of research is evident in raising the speed of handball skill performance of students while learning offensive skills according to a successful teaching method. The main goal is competition of both types (self-competition) and (standard competition) as they have one goal, which is to compare the level and performance in order to address it and work to raise it to the best. The problem of the research was: The game of handball is a game of seconds in attack and defense, which requires speed in performance. Therefore, teaching students must be accompanied by accuracy and speed as well, due to their importance in the success of learning and performance in the future in competitions. The best teaching method for this education is competition because it makes the learner coexist. Laws of technical and legal performance and the atmosphere of competition in learning.
The most important objectives of the research were: - Identifying the effect of the two teaching methods (self-competition) and (standard competition) in teaching students the speed of performing some offensive skills in handball.
Accordingly The research population consisted of (86) second-year students from the College of physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Sulaymaniyah University. These students were chosen, representing (14.28%) more than the original group. The first group learned to understand (learning by learning) in order to develop (learning by learning). Each group consisted of (10) students, and a new research study was conducted between each group to ensure equivalence.The conclusion was made: The two teaching methods (self-competition) and (standard competition) are successful methods in raising the level of education in terms of the speed of performance of some offensive handball skills for students.
It was recommended: - Adopting two teaching methods (self-competition) and (standard competition) as they are successful methods in raising the level of education in terms of speed of performance of some offensive handball skills for students.
