The rhetorical studies that dealt with the Holy Quran have taken up a large space in the efforts of the scholars and interpreters. Imam Al-Zamakhshari, may God have mercy on him, had unlimited merit in the study of Quranic rhetoric. His vast knowledge of the Arabic language enabled him to grasp the rhetorical secrets of the Quranic system. His rhetorical expressions with which he interpreted the Quranic verses were a subject of disagreement in understanding them among scholars and students. The research traces the efforts of these scholars and students in their understanding of Al-Zamakhshari’s expression and how they analyzed this expression, analyzed the expression, and preferred the closest aspect. This phrase is used to cite them to strengthen their texts and rhetorical opinions. Study method:The method followed by the study is the analytical inductive method, i.e. reading Al-Zamakhshari’s rhetorical phrase. Among the scholars and scholars, ancient and modern, and its analysis, as the study relied on the principle of compromise between the opinions of Scientists prefer the one closest to the meaning. Al-Zamakhshari’s explanatory phrase is one of the main pillars on which scholars relied in establishing the three sections of Arabic rhetoric in their final form.
Conclusion: The difference in understanding Al-Zamakhshari’s explanatory phrase is a new reading of the eloquence of the Qur’anic text, and this Reading contributed to revealing the rhetorical merit of the Qur’anic system.
