This research is a serious and intensive practical attempt to uncover the forms of poetic discourse opposed to al-Sumaysir. This discourse is considered a poetic experience formed within the turbulent political context of Andalusia during a certain period, a time marked by power struggles and shifts in centers of influence. The study is based on the premise that al-Sumaysir's poetry did not merely express his own personal views, but rather carried a critical and conscious vision of the volatile political reality of Andalusia. Furthermore, his poetic discourse constituted a semantic structure that directly and explicitly opposed the political system. This study necessitated examining the patterns of his poetic discourse of opposition, analyzing its style, and exploring its psychological and intellectual motivations. The study divided these oppositional patterns into two main contexts: the first is a direct, explicit oppositional discourse characterized by clarity and boldness in presenting the idea of opposition, revealing his position without ambiguity; the second is an indirect, suggestive discourse that conceals itself behind symbols, allusions, and rhetorical images. This research also sought to approach these poems analytically to reveal the artistic structure of the oppositional text, tracing the themes of explicitness and allusion in a number of Ibn al-Sumaysir's oppositional poems. The study examines the rhetorical structures that influenced and dominated the text to highlight the opposing semantic structure, such as simile, repetition, and digression. In this research paper, we did not overlook the structural and rhythmic dimension of the text, as the link between the linguistic structure and the political context was established within the framework of a complete and comprehensive reading of the texts of the opposing discourse. This study adopted the descriptive analytical method as a scientific approach, combining the observation, description, analysis, and interrogation of its semantic structure.
