This research is part of the requirements of the doctoral thesis, entitled (Technique and Perspective of Narrative According to the Method of New Historical Criticism, in Kurdish Novel), in which the researcher answers the following questions: What are the concepts used by the method of new historical criticism? What, then, is the art and technique of narrative from the perspective of the method of new historical criticism? How is the narrative perspective, according to the method of new historical criticism, used to tell events in the novel? Obviously, this article is an important article in Kurdish literature, in which it reproduces some old historical discussions and presents new understandings about them. In our approach, we rely on the method (descriptive-analytical-historical). It takes their cognitive skills in reading and analyzing literary texts. Because new historicism believes in the mutual influence of literature and history.
Historical criticism is one of the new theories of the postmodern world. This theory wants to enter the heart of literary texts in a different way, in order to identify and discuss the cultural systems that led to the formation of literary texts
That is, it points to a new method of reading literary texts in relation to their historical and cultural context. While the old historical criticism method focuses only on historical events, the new historicism focuses on cultural concepts. In this paper, the researcher discusses a literary critical activity that has attracted a lot of attention in literary and critical centers. Based on the views of this new method, we have tried to investigate the novel Ark of Angels and the Fifth Book.
