This research studies the communicative function of the poem’s title in the poetry of Adeeb Kamal El-Din Adopting selected examples from the third volume of his complete poetic works as an applied model, It is based on the assumption that the title represents part of the semantic fabric of the text. It plays an effective role in directing reception and producing meaning. The research relied on Roman-Jacobson's functions, along with Geranit's classification of address functions Such as seductive, descriptive, suggestive, and descriptive With the expansion into other functions such as the psychological-intertextual-metallinguistic function The research concludes that Adeeb Kamal El-Din's titles are inseparable from the text. Rather, they contribute to opening up reading horizons and shaping the poem's communicative and aesthetic dimensions It is limited to the poems included in the third volume of the poet's collected works, given that this volume represents a stage of artistic and semantic maturity, and a high density in the use of titles with prominent pragmatic functions. The texts were selected with clear and diverse titles, representing various models of pragmatic functions. These texts were analyzed through an in-depth reading of each title, aiming to determine its pragmatic significance, its relationship to the text, and its function in guiding the reader, as well as to extrapolate the pragmatic context that these titles represent.
