Abstract

This study shows the inclination of literature tasters in Najaf city through Shaikh Abdulmahdi Mattar's poem. This poem named (The golden gate) was read at Imam Ali holy shrine while opening the new golden gate in 1952. This poem became an icon referring to Imam Ali holy shrine in Najaf city as its implications were not forgotten by the people there. When we examin the poetic implications contained in the literary text, we figure out that it did not depart from the historical glimpses of the usual biography of Imam Ali. So, why did the citizens pay it their attention as if it is a new genre never highlighted by the authors before? As long as this poem was read in a an occasion, the listener was expecting to hear from the poet a specific content or implication which goes hand in hand with occasion. On the contrary, the poet surprised the people by different content. So, why did he make this difference? Why it was admired by the people? These questions are the problem of the research and this research will try to provide the answers for them. The researcher put some answers to solve this issue by a critical approach that is capable of dismantling the content structures. The researcher chose the cultural criticism that is at the top of means and methods which give complete freedom to explore these hidden meanings in the surface meanings. ملخص البحث: اتجهت الدراسة إلى بيان ميل متذوقي الأدب في مدينة النجف الأشرف بمطلع القصيدة التي ألقاها الشيخ عبد المهدي مطر عام 1952م في مقام الإمام علي المعنونة بـ (الباب الذهبي)، أثناء افتتاح البوابة المذهبة الجديدة المطلة على الحرم المقدس، حتى أصبحت القصيدة بكاملها إيقونة تشير إلى العتبة العلوية المقدسة في النجف الاشرف؛ لأنَّ مضامينها لم تفارق أذهان أبناء المجتمع السائر ضمن دائرة تقليدية، وخاصة الإعجاب شعر المناسبات. ولمّا نقف أمام المضامين الشعرية الواردة في النص الأدبي، نجدها لم تفارق اللمحات التأريخية المعهودة من سيرة الإمام علي ، فلماذا أصاب انثيال أبناء المجتمع عليها، وكأنَّها جنس غريب مستور لم تحطه عناية الأدباء؟ وما دامت القصيدة قيلت بمناسبة معروفة، والمتلقي مهيئ أن يسمع من الشاعر الذي ارتقى منبر الانشاد الشعري أن ياتي بمضامين شعرية تتوافق مع المناسبة وسائرة ضمن قالبها، إلا أنَّ الشاعر باغت الجميع بمضامين أُخرى، فلماذا صنع هذه المغايرة؟ ولماذا نالت الاعجاب الإكبار؟ هنا تقع مشكلة البحث للإجابة عن التساؤلات السالفة، وتكفّــلت بفك ألغازها، فوضع البحث إجابات لحلّها من خلال منهجٍ نقديٍ قادرٍ على تفكيك بُنى المضامين، فاختار الباحث النقد الثقافي المتربع على وسائل وطرائق تعطي الحرية الكاملة لسبر غور هذه المعاني المتخفية خلف معانٍ ظاهرية.
