Manifestations of visual pollution in Darbandikhan

Visual pollution is a form of environmental pollution that most cities suffer from. This phenomenon has increased exponentially due to increasing population on the one hand and growing urbanization and advanced housing projects on the other hand. The research area, which is located in Darbandikhan, is located in the south of Sulaimani province. The aim of this study is to identify the causes of vision pollution in the city and then determine its impact on the residents of the area through the distribution of survey forms
According to the research, Darbandikhan suffers from visual pollution, there are several factors that cause this problem, including private generators and their wires, misuse of public sidewalks, traffic congestion, as well as the presence of stray animals on the roads and waste.
Therefore, this study shows that local authorities can reduce this pollution by implementing environmental laws, increasing green space and raising environmental awareness among the population.
