Title, Importance of the Title, Analysis of Title and Story ContentAbstract
The title is the key to the story, as it defines the content and components of the story in revealing its meaning, thereby reflecting the story's purpose through its title. Therefore, the selection of a title must be deliberate, aligning with the general content and idea of the story, as the relationship between the title and the story is reflective and suggestive. Since most studies begin their analysis of the narrative text from the title, then move to the content, and finally return to the title, this is done with the aim of interconnecting the title with the content of the narrative text. The title holds special significance for the reader, as it attracts them to the content of the text or anchors their understanding, being the first element that captures the reader's attention. Additionally, the title serves as the indication, intent, and signification that the author uses to convey their idea. This makes the title a valuable and effective tool within the narrative text. In this study, we discussed this topic from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and then attempted to present and analyze children's stories from the magazine "Al-Zawaya" as an example.
