Abstract

This research, titled "The Role of Sound Techniques in Enhancing the Aesthetic Level in Kurdish Film," attempts to provide a scientific reading of the role of sound techniques in elevating the aesthetic standards of Kurdish cinema. The study employs a content analysis method on a selected sample of Kurdish film, where "Sound Design" is analyzed from the perspective of "Sound Aesthetics." The objective is to highlight the technical concept of sound as a primary element in constructing artistic meaning and to demonstrate its role in enhancing the film's aesthetic level. To achieve this goal, the research follows a descriptive methodology, taking the feature film "Kafan" (2024), directed by "Srusht Abbarash," as a sample. The analysis encompasses both the content and formal aspects of the sound techniques used. The research findings, obtained through quantitative and qualitative analysis, reveal that Kurdish cinema in its current stage has witnessed significant development in the use of advanced sound technology. This further illustrates the vital role of sound techniques in raising the aesthetic quality of Kurdish films.
