Abstract

In modern literary criticism, a title is considered the identity of a text and a key factor in drawing readers to its content. Since the advent of the printing revolution, titles have gained even greater importance in contemporary literary analysis.

A title is composed of a group of linguistic signs placed at the beginning of a text to identify it, attract the reader's attention, and prepare them for the content that follows. In the reception of a literary text, the title plays a vital role. Since it is the first element a reader encounters, it serves as an initial point of engagement, shaping their expectations and drawing them into the text.

This paper, titled The Embodiment of Title in the Content of Kamal Ramazan Akrawi's Poetry, focuses on how titles are reflected within the content of his works. Due to the scope of the research, the study specifically examines his poetry collection Night Has Not Yet Satiated with Worshipping Darkness, which includes 18 poems.

The paper aims to explore how the title is embodied within the content of these poems.
