This study undertakes a systematic examination of the sentence concept and sentence typologies in Turkish through a linguistic lens, conducting a structural analysis of selected poems from Nesrin Erbil's Yaralı Kuş. The analytical framework categorizes sentences according to predicate type, predicate position, semantic properties, and structural configuration. The findings reveal that sentence structures in Erbil's poetry represent deliberate and functionally motivated linguistic choices, wherein grammatical constructions serve as fundamental components that amplify both the aesthetic dimension and semantic complexity of poetic discourse. The study underscores that linguistic investigation of sentence structures within poetic texts yields significant insights into the syntactic characteristics of Turkish, thereby contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the language's structural features.
