Abstract

Legal protection is the legal foundation upon which the legal system is based, especially in protecting vulnerable groups, including the elderly and people with disabilities, due to their limited physical and mental abilities to perform legal acts correctly. This exposes them to exploitation and harm to their interests by others, particularly in the field of concluding contracts or fulfilling obligations. Legal protection is provided to them through legal restrictions, such as limiting legal capacity in some cases, or subjecting certain actions to legal oversight to ensure the protection of their personal interests through the principle of protecting property and preserving their civil rights. Anyone who causes them harm is obligated to provide material and moral compensation based on the provisions of liability. We will divide our research into two sections. In the first section, we will address the concept of legal protection for the elderly and people with disabilities in civil law through two requirements. In the first requirement, we will address the concept of the elderly and people with disabilities in the first and second subsections. In the second requirement, we will dedicate it to the legal protection of the elderly and people with disabilities in civil law. In the second section, we will address the civil guarantees for the protection of the elderly and people with disabilities, where we will explain the role of civil law in protecting the elderly and people with disabilities in the first requirement. In the second requirement, we will address the civil liability incurred by the elderly and people with disabilities.
