This research discusses the importance of criticism in the development of Kurdish theater. Criticism serves as a guide that strives to improve the quality of performances. Through the analysis of the play "The Servants," the research indicates that constructive criticism helps artists identify their strengths and weaknesses.
Criticism has three main roles: First, evaluating the artistic level of the performance. Second, raising audience awareness of the meaning and message of the play. Third, proposing solutions for improving performances.
The play "The Servants" is presented as an example to demonstrate how criticism can be effective. The research reveals that scientific and unbiased criticism can be a solid foundation for the development of Kurdish theater and the elevation of the artistic and social level of performances.
