The current research aims to:
1. Measure health-related quality of life and excessive sleepiness among employees of state ministries.
2. Identify differences in health-related quality of life and excessive sleepiness based on:
a. Gender: Male ( ) Female ( )
b. Age: (30–40) (41–51)
3. Determine the correlational relationship between health-related quality of life and excessive sleepiness among employees of state ministries.
Based on the foregoing, the researcher adopted a health-related quality of life scale and an excessive sleepiness scale, along with the theoretical frameworks explaining them as detailed in the study. The scales were administered to a sample of 300 employees randomly selected from various ministries. The results indicated that the sample exhibited levels of both health-related quality of life and excessive sleepiness, revealing a statistically significant inverse correlation between the two variables. Finally, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions as outlined in the study.
