Abstract

The role of organizations in promoting women's work and capabilities in Southern Kurdistan (2003-2014) is considered an important historical period in the history of women's organization in Southern Kurdistan.

       The research stated that the role of women and their participation in the political matters in different fields has opened up and entered a new stage. Specifically after the fall of the Ba'ath regime in Iraq (2003), which is considered a new era in the framework of political and organizational effort after the so-called liberation of Iraq, the organizations have played an active and influential role in the political vision. 

     Taking the choice of this period in this historical period is to uncover the hidden and unknown aspects of the position, role and influence of both organizations (Women's Union and Women's Union) in Southern Kurdistan.

     In this research the descriptive and analytical methods were used. Generally, the research consists of an introduction and two topics. The introduction is about the women’s role in organizations and the first topic will discuss the Kurdistan Women's Union (KWU) shed lightning the history in terms of its activities. The second topic will discuss the KWU shed lightning the same history in terms of its activities and activities.

 

The structure of this research is divided into an introduction, an introduction and two main topics with conclusions and a list of sources. In the first topic we discussed the Kurdistan Women's Union, which focused on the duration of the study. In the second topic, we discussed the Kurdistan Women's Union, which focused on the same period of the study.

In this research we have relied on several important Kurdish sources, some of which can be mentioned here such as: Vian Sulaiman, Meet the Kurdistan Women's Union; Kaner Abdullah, Women's Political Participation in South Kurdistan; Shawnam Yahya, women, a common issue, different perspectives and many other sources of interviews with characters and contemporaries of the period, such as (Naska Saeed Khadr, Kuestan Latif Wali, Nazakat Hussein Hama Saeed, Kuner Abdullah, Munir Abubakr and Sazian Taleb Saleh) and these sightings have been used in a recorded manner.
